Max. size:  14 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 53 - 420 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: South Africa and the Red Sea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 98-98; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 76-77. Yellowish brown in color; distal portion of median fins dusky (Ref. 4417). Pectoral fin on eyed side with 14-15 rays, on blind side with 14 rays (Ref. 4417).
