Max. size:  6.14 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: known only from the type locality, Laguna de la Cocha, Pasto, Colombia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Feeds mainly on crustaceans (Ref. 49958).
IUCN Red List Status: Near Threatened (NT); Date assessed: 10 October 2014 Ref. (130435)
