Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Seychelles, Mauritius, Reunion (Ref. 33390), Indonesia, and northern Australia; East Indian Archipelago.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits areas of sandy or muddy bottoms in coastal waters less than about 20 m depth (Ref. 27956).
