Max. size:  13.1 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Arabian Peninsula in Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-11; Anal soft rays: 7-9. Garra tibanica can be distinguished by having 7 branched dorsal fin rays, a short distance between anus and anal-fin origin (3.1% SL, mean), 32-38 scales in the lateral line series, and 6-13 gill rakers on the lower limb of the first gill arch (Ref. 13617).
Biology:  Inhabits pools and streams (Ref. 115237).
