Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 5.80000019073486 - 7.19999980926514, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: southern Nigeria.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in temporary swamps and swampy parts of smaller brooks in the coastal rainforest (Ref. 3788). Bottom spawner, 2 months incubation (Ref. 27139).
