Environment:  reef-associated; marine
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific from south Taiwan, Vietnam, Palau, Federated States of Micronesia (Fais Atoll, Yap State and Saipan), Guam.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 7-8
Biology:  Inhabits tide pools of exposed seaward reefs (Ref. 37816).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 09 March 2015 Ref. (130435)
