Max. size:  12 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: occurs only in White River drainage (including Current and Black rivers) in Missouri and Arkansas, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in deep, fast gravel and rubble riffles of small to medium rivers.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 12 December 2011 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
