Max. size:  7.2 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: found only in Tennessee River drainage in Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama (absent in extreme upper Tennessee), USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits rocky pools and adjacent riffles of creeks and small rivers (Ref. 5723, 10294).
