Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Cunene and Okavango Rivers in Angola (Ref. 7248, 120641) and Namibia (Ref. 7248). A little-known species described from the Longa River in Angola (Ref. 7248, 120641). Appears similar to species of the chubbyhead group (Ref. 7248).
