Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Known only from Cubagua Island off Venezuela.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 20-22; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-15; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 22-24
Biology:  A shallow water species found on bottoms with coarse sand or rubble and shells of mollusks.
