Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 2 - 20 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Indonesia (Ref. 47567).
Diagnosis:  Description: Characterized by dark brown color with fine, lighter mottling; whitish with dark margins around sensory pores of lower jaw; body depth at gill opening 10-13 in TL; origin of dorsal fin above gill opening or slightly anterior; anus at middle of body or slightly posterior of this point; conical teeth; upper jaw teeth in two rows posteriorly; largest teeth on intermaxillary; single row of vomerine teeth (Ref. 90102).
