Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: ParaĆ­ba do Sul River basin.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  There is very little that is known on the ecology and habitat of this species, for only six specimens exist in collections. Specimens from Rio Pomba (MCP 27296 and MCP 31467) were collected during the night in the main river channel, on a rocky bottom and in a very strong current (Ref. 57859).
