Max. size:  129 cm TL (male/unsexed); max.weight: 25 kg
Environment:  benthopelagic; depth range 1 - 50 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Mexico. Introduced into the highly saline waters of Salton Sea in southern California, USA.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits coastal waters (Ref. 9118).
