Environment:  demersal; freshwater; pH range: 7.90000009536743; dH range: 53, non-migratory
Distribution:  North America: San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  An egg laying omnivorous fish which prefers rocky-gravelly substratum with vegetation. Aquarium conditions: pH=7.2, H=12, 28°C water temperature (Ref. 6398). Not a seasonal killifish. Is easy to maintain in the aquarium (Ref. 27139).
