Max. size:  21 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 20 - 324 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Peru.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found over hard and muddy bottoms (Ref. 9118). Feeds on zooplankton, euphausiids and other small crustaceans (Ref. 9118). Often caught with Merluccius gayi (Ref. 9118).
