Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
Max. size:  1.9 cm SL (male/unsexed); 1.6 cm (female)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 8 - 50 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Bahamas, Cuba (Ref. 26340), and Belize.
Diagnosis:  Distinguished by the following characteristics: small; lack scales; possess VII spines in the first dorsal; no head or opercle pores; ventral fins completely separate (Ref. 92840).
Biology:  Inhabits sandy bottoms in coral-reef habitats (Ref. 92840).
