Distribution:  Southern Ocean: Southwest Atlantic: Argentina; Southwest Indian Ocean (Crozet Is.); East Indian Ocean: Australia; Southwest Pacific: New Zealand.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Anal spines: 0-0
Biology:  Found in the continental rise to abyssal depths of 2,470-5,070 m (Ref. 5171). Benthic (Ref. 75154).
