Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range 5 - 200 m
Distribution:  Europe: Lake Vierwaldstätter, Switzerland.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Lacustrine, pelagic. Feeds on crustaceans and at 5-30 m depth. In July to September, moves to depths of 80-200 m to spawn (Ref. 59043).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 01 January 2008 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
