Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Europe: Extinct; formerly in Lake Geneva, Switzerland and France (Ref. 13696, 59043).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Lacustrine, in moderate depth. Feeds on insects in summer. Moves to deeper water in winter. Spawns in February in deep water over aquatic vegetation. (Ref. 59043).
