Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range 30 - 100 m
Distribution:  Europe: lakes Thun and Brienz, Switzerland.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Lacustrine, in deep water. Spawns in September, at 30-100 m depth. Spawns for the first time at about 120 mm SL (Ref. 59043).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 01 January 2008 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
