Family:  Pomacentridae (Damselfishes), subfamily: Chrominae
Max. size:  12.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 90 - 152 m, non-migratory
Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: off southeastern Australia and the Norfolk Island Ridge.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 13-13; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-14; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 11-12
Biology:  Adults inhabit deep offshore trawling grounds (Ref. 7247). Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate (Ref. 205). Males guard and aerate the eggs (Ref. 205).
