Max. size:  9.52 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; pH range: 7.5 - 8; dH range: 9 - 19,
Distribution:  Africa: Lake Malawi (Ref. 5684).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits the shallow rocky biotope in sediment-free areas. Common around small rocks (Ref. 5595). It feeds by combing loose algae from the biocover (Ref. 5595).
