Environment:  pelagic-oceanic; marine; depth range 180 - 5691 m
Distribution:  Pacific plate, north of Hawaii; from 135°W to 178°E, 19°30'N to 31°S;
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in the mesopelagic to bathypelagic zones; where juveniles are known from 180-450 m, while adults are found at greater depths, 5154-5691 m (mean 5423 m) (Ref. 82429).
