Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 1250 - 2000 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: currently known from the eastern Indian Ocean between 16°-32°S and 87°- 97°E and the type locality on the Cocos Ridge in the eastern Pacific (5°43'N, 85°50'W).
