Family:  Malacanthidae (Tilefishes), subfamily: Latilinae
Max. size:  40.7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; depth range 100 - 366 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: apparently endemic to Bermuda.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs on coral rubble or sand bottom (Ref. 9952). Minimu depth from Ref. 009952.
IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated (N.E.) Ref. (120744)
Threat to humans:  harmless
