Max. size:  7.4 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: Meta River basin.
Diagnosis:  Distinguished from congeners from the Orinoco and Lake Maracaibo basins by having teeth of outer premaxillary row arranged in straight line and six to eight small lateral teeth on dentary (Ref. 86277).
