Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed); 7.5 cm (female)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater; brackish, non-migratory
Distribution:  Central America: Costa Rica to Panama.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Reported to associate with Neoheterandria tridentiger where distributions overlap.
