Max. size:  68.3 cm TL (male/unsexed); 57 cm TL (female)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 400 - 461 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Fiji and New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 211-222; Anal soft rays: 154-157; Vertebrae: 168-176. Diagnosis: The distal ends of the 5th-7th rays of branchiostegal membrane protruding outside through branchiostegal membrane. Vertebrae 168-176; trunk vertebrae 74-77. Dorsal fin rays 211-222. Anal fin rays154-157 (Ref. 54804).
