Family:  Bothidae (Lefteye flounders)
Max. size:  18.3 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 267 - 292 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: known only from the east coast of Luzon, Philippines.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 108-113; Anal soft rays: 84-89. Distal end of pectoral fin on eyed side not blackish. Males without anterior dorsal-fin rays elongate (Ref 42535).
Biology:  Feeds on bottom-living animals.
