Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  6.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; pH range: 5.5 - 6.5; dH range: 12, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Ivindo river drainage system, between Ovan and Bélinga, northern Gabon. Congo.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in small, mostly swampy brooks in the rainforest (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 16 February 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
