Remarks Feeds primarily on unidentified organic matter, secondarily on crustaceans, fishes, and blue crabs. Known to occur in salinities ranging from 0 to 37 ppt., temperatures ranging from 21.5 to 32 °C, and water transparency ranging from 0.3 to 2.1 m (Ref. 8980). See also Ref. 8981, 42268.
