Remarks Found in shallow waters, predominantly over muddy bottoms. Usually occurs in schools (Ref. 30573). Juveniles and/or adults are found in mangrove inlets and far inshore waters (Ref. 121464). Feeds on polychaetes, bivalves, small crustaceans and sponges (Ref. 30573).
