Main Ref. Myers, R.F., 1999
Remarks Found solitary or forms small groups (Ref. 90102) in coastal reef flats with rich coral and algae habitats, usually in very shallow depths of a few meters (Ref. 48636); also on rocky and coralline structures (Ref. 529); among Acropora and Pocillopora corals of surf-swept algal ridge (Ref. ?). Occurs on large rocks on bottoms of well-developed surge channels; among Acropora and Pocillopora corals of surf-swept algal ridge (Ref. ?).
