Remarks | There are two types of 'dolla'. Those which are white live in sandy bottoms while those which are black live in rocky areas (Diabé Sow). The white ones are called 'dolla' and there are no special names applied to their young (Demba Traoré). In the olden days, the 'dolla' can be bought at 25 to 50 (African) francs. Even at this price, they were not really sold, but they are most often thrown away (Moussa Dia). |
