| Quote | Not found in the eastern part of Arabian Sea. Also, the subspecies probably does not enter the coastal waters of the Bay of Bengal, occurring only at its outlet. Appears to be absent in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf. |
